Like many of you, I've had my 'official' working hours cut. It's hard to manage a business that involves being present with people when the government shuts down the world. I would imagine some of you, like me, have had to fight off bouts of depression since sitting at home all day takes away the natural opportunities to keep your mind busy - especially on those rainy days. For me, it's also taken away the joy I get from helping other people in their fitness and wellness journeys.
Despite not 'working' though, boy have I been busy! Many of us have gotten pay cuts and simultaneously become teachers, preachers, drill sergeants, chefs, janitors, etc. Even something as simple as blogging has been a challenge because we have 2 computers, 3 kids, and all 3 kids have schoolwork online!*
I decided to share some links that I have found helpful during this shutdown in the hope that they prove helpful to you also.
CDC website for COVID-19
Georgia Unemployment Insurance
Khan Academy (for you or the kids)
MIT Open Course (for you or the kids)
At Home Workouts (Apparently open until the COVID-19 situation ends)
Gwinnett Library Online Resources
I look forward to seeing you all when this is over. Until then, keep your heads up, your minds clear, and your goals in sight. We'll all get through this!

*I have been reminding myself how blessed I am to have 3 kids, 2 computers, and enough money that a temporary shutdown doesn't cause me any financial difficulty. Sometimes short spans of difficulty can be helpful in getting us to appreciate the good times.
